American Emily Sweeney: lost control during her fourth race and fell on the track.

A terrifying scene developed here on Tuesday night when the American Emily Sweeney lost control during her fourth race and fell on the track, causing an interruption of the game during the final of the women's sled race. According to the local doctor, Sweeney was beaten but had no broken bones. They took it to an additional evaluation, but a spokesman for USA Luge said he was not sure if he would undergo a concussion protocol. When he got into an ambulance, Sweeney said: I'm fine.

In 14th place after his third race, Sweeney was close to turn nine in the final heat when he bounced against the right wall and moved from side to side. At first he lowered his feet to slow his progress, but quickly began to swing at more than 60 miles per hour. After falling on the ice, Sweeney rolled down the track with his towed sledge before stopping. The authorities suspended the competition while the medical personnel entered the track to attend Sweeney.
